LAKESIDE HOTEL VILLA LINDE OFFICIALLY OPENED - IMPRESSIVE REDESIGNED VILLAGE CENTER OF THE GRÄFLICHE SEEDOMAINE ZU BODMAN.

THE GRAND OPENING - AN EMOTIONAL MOMENT

Bodman-Ludwigshafen (July 02, 2019) - The new Seehotel Villa Linde in the center of Bodman shines in splendid splendor. The Grand Opening of the house celebrated over 300 guests on Friday, June 28, 2019, with the new charismatic owner Christopher W. von Prack, Baron Johannes von und zu Bodman and Mayor Matthias Weckbach, who are very happy with the redesign. For all participants, the opening ceremony was a very emotional moment, because after the area of the current Gräfliche Seedomaine zu Bodman lingered for 20 years in a Sleeping Beauty slumber, the whole village is now proud of this new beginning of the historic village center.

THE SEEHOTEL THEN AND NOW

The facade of the Seehotel Villa Linde, the heart of the Gräfliche Seedomaine zu Bodman, has been restored almost faithfully to the original model of the "old" Hotel Linde from the 1920s. Architecturally, the house inspires with timeless elegance and Mediterranean flair. Inside, a maritime ambience has been created both in the 14 individually designed double rooms and penthouse suites - all with views of Lake Constance - and in the bistro. Numerous planks, which can be found on noble ships and yachts, were built into the hotel and reflect the owner's passion for sailing.

Christopher Wolfram von Prack:

"We have put a lot of effort into the furnishings with attention to detail, so that the hotel has a maritime Lake Constance feeling at the most modern level," Christoph W. von Prack was very satisfied. A total of 173 people contributed to the impressive result, and he thanked them as well as the local residents for their patience during the construction period."

SPECIALTIES FROM THE REGION

The guests at the opening ceremony were able to convince themselves of the exquisite culinary skills of gourmet chef Kevin Leitner and his team. Together with his hand-picked team, he now spoils guests in the bistro "s'Äpfle", the "LindeBar" with winter garden and on the idyllic sun terrace with specialties from the region .

MEETING PLACE FOR GUESTS AND LOCALS

Johannes Freiherr von und zu Bodman, like operator von Prack, is absolutely convinced by the redesign, "now the hotel can once again become what it once was, a meeting place for illustrious guests and locals."

The historically important significance of this special location for Bodman is now taken into account with the area. Early on, the former post office had developed into an inn and in the 1920s, with the Hotel Linde, into one of the most renowned houses on Lake Constance, was the hub of Bodman. Mayor Matthias Weckbach was also very pleased with the result: "The Seedomaine, the area that has always contributed to the identification of the village, now moves back into the center."
